The next night, they were preparing for their performances at the ‘Milky Way’. Now, Hiver and Dete have gotten themselves their own fans. They became popular at Papricorn, ‘Milky Way’ was crowded with their lovers just to watch their performances. That news could only make them became more proud, their dream was near to achieve and would be on top for sure making them more happy to realize the dream on bringing their fathers watching them performed the most tremendous performance ever.
Hiver took the ‘Orgol’ and put it on a black bag. Dete came out after that, wearing his hat and fixed his cape in front of a small mirror hang at the living room. They waited for Autumn who would go together with them. She finally came out with a night black blingee long dress. Hiver and Dete were enchanted by her style that night, more over Hiver who seemed carried away for a second.
“With that dress, what song would you perform tonight?” Hiver gags her. Autumn giggled few times and she shook her head.
Autumn performed her song called, ‘Yesterday Once More’ and win all the heart of crowds including Hiver and Dete who was watching her performance before they came into an action. Both of them were mesmerized with Autumn, they didn’t blink their eyes even once. They had already attracted, or should we say that they were trapped?
After Autumn’s performance now the time had come to watch the magicians did some of their greatest tricks. Hiver and Dete equipped themselves and started to drive the crowds gone wild with their crazy, confusing and illogical magic tricks. Autumn also watched them, and she felt really proud having them as a friend and much more, having Hiver as her special one. She was indeed happy now that she had found new direction in life and she considered that her memories with Corey were all fake. She don’t want to remember that, she kept telling it to herself and just wanted to enjoy her latest life.
“You go first, Hiv. I got some work to do now,” That was the way Dete always pretending just to avoid seeing Hiver and Autumn getting closer each day. He cannot resist the flame on his heart anymore. It was not easy seeing the girl we loved had given her feelings to other guy, Dete was suffered, Autumn had lived with them for 3 months now and he suffered. He suffered even more knowing that he loved her, he gave his heart for her and its kills him.
Each time, after they were finished performing, Dete would have 1001 excuses not to join them on way home. Because he was so jealous looking at Autumn and Hiver. He believes that his love to Autumn was more strong than Hiver, after all Autumn’s secret was in his pocket now. He knew about Seth and he could use that to steal Autumn’s heart. Slowly, his tears went down to his cheek.
Dete did not go straight to home, he drop in a disco called ‘The Corn’s Dancing’. Well, actually The Corn’s Dancing was his ‘must-stop place’ before he went home. There, he pour forth all his devastation in his life, mostly about his suffering. That was the place for him to crying, laughing and screaming. That was the only place for him to entertain himself after so long he hid his feeling in front of Hiver and Autumn. That was the place where he can be just himself without pretending that he’s happy with everything and wished everyone best of luck.
He realized how awful he was now, how miserable he was now, how stupid he looks now. All these only for Autumn not for other woman. I’m sorry, Hiv… this feeling could not be hide anymore. I love you, Autumn.
Hiver and Autumn had reach home safely with cab. Just wait, Autumn. I’m collecting money so that we could buy a new car. Really brand new car for us, Autumn. I will take you ride anywhere you want to go, even if it’s the end of the world… I will take you there, just to prove that I am indeed love you and I couldn’t stand it if I know other guy have the strong feeling like I am. I can’t, Autumn.
They walked clove the night, and talked about each other performances. Paid each other compliment and laughed out loud. Honestly, Hiver had never felt this way, for three months he knew lots about Autumn. Autumn have told him everything about her, her family and her life. He doesn’t mind about her past, it’s not important anymore. As people always said, future is golden than the past. Let bygone be bygone, there was no use to think about it anymore. We cannot return back to our past, Autumn. I am your future, in front of you. I’m ready to do anything, just let me know.
“Hiv… I just want you to know…” Autumn’s voice suddenly changes becoming slower and dreary. Hiver waited the next word with patience.
“I will move out from the house,” Hiver felt like there’s something stabbing his brain; he got a big headache after Autumn said that she wanted to moving out from the house. His eyes were wide towards her, Autumn bowed her head. She does not want to look at Hiver and his devastation. But, finally she had strength to put up her face and looked at Hiver softly. The looked killing Hiver so much, he still bewildered on what Autumn just said to him.
“That soon? Why? You…already has a house now? Where?” One question came after another, but that doesn’t make Autumn felt suffocate with all the inquiries made by Hiver. She was ready to answer all the questions asked by anyone, including Hiver here. She smiled before she took a calm breath and answer the question.
“Yes, I found a house. Not near from here, and the rental is cheap too. So, I don’t think that staying longer with you is a good solution to my problem. I need to face my problem, not hide from it. Thank you for giving such a comfort shelter.”
Hiver didn’t know, he thought this was a good starter for such a nice relationships with Autumn, but apparently this isn’t what he expect for. Autumn was running away, he merely wanted to ask her, her decision to get out from his house was a way for her to avoid him?
“What about us?” he asked her, with a soft look he threw to her.
“Us? What are you try to say actually?” she walked away, leaving Hiver with a little frustration.
At night, as the routine goes they were prepared to go out that night and performed at Milky Way. Hiver packed all the stuff that he going to use in his magic show while Dete took the ‘Orgol’ and place it in a black bag. Hiver didn’t say anything and left their room. He’s waiting both Autumn and Dete at the hallway of their house’s building.
Autumn still prepared herself, she thinks that this is her last night staying together with Hiver and Dete. But, this is the best that she could think. Now, the feeling for Hiver is growing, she was afraid to make it bloom as for the past experience teach her that how cruel she would be to herself when she let her heart accept a man. The past is a mistake; she wouldn’t repeat the same mistake twice. After all her hardship she had been gone through to escape from men now she was trapped again. She put her dress on.
Dete carried his ‘Orgol’ bag and rest it on his shoulder. He walked pass by Autumn’s room and immediately he remembered about the man called Seth. Autumn got so many secret in her life, he wondered what’s next? He pondered; does Autumn have a black history? That she refused to share it with anyone.
